A confession: Tim and I have no memories of ever putting together a gingerbread house. So, when Lia asked to make one this year, we decided to give it a try. It was exciting for all of us! Ellie and Lia did such a good job. Zeke was happy to watch from his chair. I warned them not to eat any of the candy, expecting that they would eat about half of it. But, they took me seriously and did not eat a single piece of candy. They wanted their house to look good. I think we have a new Christmas tradition.
