Today we celebrated my birthday with the girls. Birthdays have become less and less important to me. Ironically, they are becoming more and more important to Lia. So, we got a dual purpose cake this year (Ellie's baptism birthday and my birthday.) Lia insisted on having 32 candles. Wow. The cake was bright. It was glowing. Glad that Lia enjoyed it.
I just love this picture of Ellie "counting" the candles. Doesn't it look like she knows what she is doing? And that she can count past 3?
