After having about a two year break from the easel being upstairs, we brought it back out of the depths of the basement. Ellie loves art. She has always loved it, even when she was very little. I have never seen a one year old spend 40 minutes coloring with chalk in the driveway before Ellie. And Ellie loves painting even more than I expected. She asks to paint as soon as she gets up these days. The smock she does not like. At all. Thank goodness for washable paint!
