Day 211: Volo Bog

Tim and I both love to hike. And we want to instill that in our children. Since we live in Illinois, hiking is relative. We went online and found a list of the top ten places to hike in Illinois. Volo Bog is on the list, and it's close to our house.

So, off we went to Volo Bog.

The 2.75 mile trail takes you through the forest...

Through the prairie...

And through the bog. Literally. On floating walkways. Very cool.

Here are my little hikers. So glad that they love nature and hiking already!
