Today I got my new lens...a 50 mm 1.4. I LOVE it! The picture of Lia is taken with my new favorite toy. And I put the picture of Ellie in, because she is just so cute! I have been using the kit lens for a year and a half now, and I'm ready for the next step. Not having zoom is an adjustment. But, I love how the pictures turn out!
As an aside, just for your information, I put all my pictures up SOOC (straight out of camera.) I would love to be a photographer that doesn't need to edit. (I know, a dream.)
Enough technical talk, I love my girls! They are so darn cute!
50mm 1.4 is a great lens to have! If you have a digital format camera, the 50mm acts like a 75mm which is a great portrait lens. With a f1.4 you can do great things with depth of field.
