This morning on the way to ballet, Lia asked if we could have a fire in our fireplace like Caillou did. I'm going to be honest, I can't stand Caillou. When Lia watches it, I use every power within me to block it out. Apparently, she watched an episode that involved a winter fire in the fireplace and today really was the perfect day for a fire. So, when Tim got home from work, the girls helped him build a fire. I'm glad to say that Lia has a very healthy fear of fire. Ellie, on the other hand, does not. Because of this, Ellie spent the time in her highchair watching the fire from a safe distance, while Lia would get no closer then you see in the picture. Lia can't wait to build her next fire in the fireplace, and the first one isn't even out yet.
