Day 213: 5:30 p.m.

Every mom knows that there is a time when the kids will lose it. We all pray that it happens after dad is home from work. Some days we are lucky...and some days we aren't. The really good moms have a stash of activities handy to keep the kids happy and entertained during that terrible time. I am not one of those prepared mothers. However, today the girls found the activity for me. My mom and dad brought shells back from Florida for the girls about a month ago. Lia found them this afternoon. Perfect. We sorted them, lined them up, put them in the water table, put them in the sand, cleaned them, etc. Thank goodness for shells! Zeke hung out on his play mat and stared at the singing star. Everyone was happy!
