Senior send off. Every year is hard, starting oh so many years ago when Catherine left for undergrad. I didn't think it would get much harder then the year Matt Pioch, Matt Hoffmeyer, and Tyler graduated. Then there was Alex leaving. But, in the back of my mind this is the year I have been dreading. If I added up the number of hours I have spent with these seven people...wow. It is a lot! This is the group that I started with as leader of youth praise, then assistant youth director, then youth director. I still sometimes picture them all as 6th graders when I led the Sunday School Christmas program. Then the young ones on the mission trip to Seattle. As we shared funny stories and watched goofy photos and videos, I realized just how much this group means to me. The bottom line is that we are so much more than just a youth group, we are a family.
You are all in my heart and will always be in my thoughts and prayers. We love you!
