This morning as I was in my usual Wednesday morning rush, Lia was not doing good. Couldn't get her out of bed. Once I finally did, she was dragging her feet and whining about her tummy hurting, her back hurting, her feet hurting. She didn't feel too warm, but I could tell she wasn't feeling good. So, I decided we needed to stay home for the day. Thus started the epic one hour tantrum. Lia screamed, kicked, yelled, and threw herself on the ground because she so desperately wanted to go to school. So, I call Tim as I am seriously second-guessing myself. He talks to Lia for five minutes. Not sure what he said, but at the end of the conversation, Lia handed me the phone and climbed onto the couch. She didn't move for the next 8 hours. Literally. By the afternoon, she had a low grade fever. Poor girl. The good news is by that night she was fine. Healthy kids rebound quickly from little viruses. So glad she is healthy!
