Day 287: First Trick or Treat

Today was our first trick-or-treat of the season.  The girls were beyond excited.  The Gurnee Park District holds an annual event where people dressed as lots of different characters hand out candy/treats to the kids in a park.  Last year it was a big hit in our house.  Except for Captain Hook.  This year, Lia was scared to death of Tigger and Pooh (I'm not kidding.)  She does not do well if the characters have big heads apparently.  No fear at all of Batman or Spiderman.  I do not get that girl.  Ellie was a little bit cautious of everyone.  She would happily wave from a distance, but didn't want to get too close.  The only one she got anywhere near was Elmo.  And that was only for a split second.

We met Naomi and Katelin at the park.  What cute girls!
