Today was quite a day. We spent the morning playing with friends. While at their house, Lia started going to the bathroom every two minutes. And telling me her bottom hurt. Oh great. So, we went home and I started pushing water like crazy. Soon, her "tummy" hurt (which was really low, like where your bladder is located.) Thinking Lia has a urinary tract infection, I set up an appointment for later in the afternoon. Let me justify myself for a minute...I am not one of those crazy moms who brings their kids into the doctor at a drop of a hat. I can count the number of sick visits Lia has had on one hand in her five years. But, with Easter right around the corner and a very busy weekend, I didn't think waiting would be smart. So, we go in. I actually convince Lia to pee in a cup. (Yeah, that was fun.) Turns out, no infection. Doctor thinks Lia is wiping too hard. When will potty training ever end??? Even with my 5 year old!!!
After a beautiful Good Friday service, we put the kids to bed. And as soon as Lia's head hits the pillow it starts to thunder. REALLY LOUD! I think a loud storm on Good Friday is great. Lia didn't think so. Here is a picture of my little girl, sleeping in my bed after a VERY long day!
