Day 157: My favorite smell

It is finally time for my favorite smell of the year (what a strange statement.) We have a beautiful lilac bush right next to our front porch. And it is blooming. Every time I walk into or out of the house, I stop and spend a few extra seconds taking in that amazing scent. As we were walking in from a bunch of errands, I couldn't resist getting some pictures. The sunlight hitting the flowers was so beautiful. I love lilacs.
