Day 168: Technology

I have a love/hate relationship with technology, as I'm sure is true of much of my generation. I miss the days where kids played outside all day and no child had computers, television in their rooms, or cellphones. (I remember how excited I was to get my very own phone in my room as a teenager. Not my own line or anything, just my own phone.) Reality is that my kids will always be surrounded by technology. I can choose to embrace it and help them use it in moderation, or fight it for the rest of their lives. I choose embrace. So, here is Lia playing on the i-pod touch. She is better at running that thing than I am. And she is five.
